What about copyright? Who owns my writing?

You do. The moment you create your writing, it is secured by copyright. No registration or other action is required to secure copyright. In other words, the moment you write it, you own exclusive rights to it (copyright).

By posting it on Writers-Network.com, you are simply granting us non-exclusive rights to display your work on our site (until you decide to take it down). Non-exclusive means that you can also give these same rights to any other site or publisher; for money or for free. We make no claims to your writing, nor does posting your writing on our site mean that you are giving up ownership of your writing in any shape, way, or form. You wrote it, you own it. Period.
