I think Writers-Network.com should...

add writing groups

Writing groups would allow you to create personalized public/private groups to meet up (virtually) with other members who share similar interests. In theory, groups would have their own bulletin board and group homepage, as well as other interactive features. Interested? ~b

        I agree about the control issues. It could also be used as an incentive, like only paying members can own them but everyone can join. I think it might help make things more personal. If you're in a group you get to know people and want to read their work. Also it won't feel like you're sending you work out into a void... hoping it gets read. I am new to the site and this is just one humble opinion. :)

        It would depend on whether or not this would be member-run, and, if so, how much control we had.

        When private groups get opened up, drama, inevitably, follows, no matter what the groups are started for. Owners of these groups would need the power to determine who does and does not belong in the group, what other members post, and whether or not to allow open access. Personal thoughts.
